Student: Teacher, can I talk to you about something?

Teacher: Sure. Is it something personal? Do you want to lock the door so that no one comes in when you are telling me this thing?

Student: No, it's okay. Well, it's about A. Did you realize that A's face always goes blank whenever you teach? Even though when you are teaching her specifically after she told you that she doesn't understand?

Teacher: No, I didn't.

Student: Well, she does. And every time when we do classwork, she keeps asking me and B because she doesn't understand as she always doesn't listen.

Teacher: I see. So A is actually bothering you and B.

Student: Er..yes. But I'm telling you about A is not only about me and B. I want the best for A.
A doesn't learn well if she keeps not paying attention in class.

Teacher: Okay. I understand. I also don't want you to use your time teaching A in class. But you know teaching another person does help you in your learning?

Student: Yes, I know that. But I can't just keep teaching A. Teacher, could you call upon A when she goes blank in class?

Teacher: Sure, but I can't call upon her 28 times in class. It would seem that I'm picking on her.

Student: I understand. I just hope that A can pay more attention in class.


我是“学生”， A 和B都是我的朋友。 老实说， A真的很烦人。 上课的时候不听课，白日梦不知发到哪里去了。突然间神游回来的时候，就不知道老师在讲什么，就会一直问我。小姐，我想听课耶，如果你一直问我的话，那我怎么听课？做课内作业的时候，你又不会做，因为你没听课。然又有问我咯。甚至在我做作业的时候，将我的作业抢过去。你知道那样会很令人不爽的吗？如果你有听课，你还不明白，那就不用紧。可是你是没听课，所提每天都问我怎么做，每天怨你讨厌科学，我每天听到都烦死了！！！每天耶，我可没有那个美国时间陪你玩玩！要不然呢，就一副打瞌睡的样子，一直问一直问：“几点了？几点了？”一个字：烦！那天，B被你惹火了，不愿借你他的功课。结果，你竟然用韩语很不爽的mumble。你知道吗？我真的很不高兴。你竟然会作出那种动作。不爽的话，自己在心里骂啊，不然就大声地说出来。干吗要用我们听不懂的语言说我们？要让我们知道你在骂我们可是却不要让我们知道内容？

当我把这告诉老师的这件事情告诉某人后，某人很生气。说我不应该告诉老师，不该当tell tale tit,不该向老师打小报告。我傻了，也生气了。我这是在打小报告吗？可我是为了我朋友的好。我了解我朋友，如果我告诉她其实我很不爽她，一定会翻脸的。我把这件事情告诉老师也是需要很大的勇气啊。

我也很辛苦啊……天知道，我在中华的时候，由于有分班，我的朋友都是努力型的，成绩好的。来到这里，交到了一些“我不想做功课，所以我不做功课”的朋友。要我说老实话，如果……我有的选择，我应该是不会跟他们天天在一起。可自私的我，不想一个人，也知道他们愿意让我跟他们在一起，所以就这样了。

我，做错了吗？

How did Rome get its Name?

Rome is the capital city of Italy. Building started in 753 BC and the Romans developed a story to explain how Rome was built. They believed that twin boys, Romulus and Remus, were taken from their mother and left by the river Tiber to starve. It is thought that a mother wolf found the babies and looked after them until they were old enough to take care of themselves.

The myth goes on to say that years later, Mars (the Roman God of war) told the boys to build a city on the spot where they had been found. The two boys built this city, but ended up fighting with each other. Romulus won the battle and the city became known as Rome. Today, historians and archaeologists believe however that people started living in Rome long ago before the time of Romulus and Remus, but many people still believe in their legend.

I think the quote mainly means that the problem about age is actually your problem of minding it. If you don’t care, you wouldn’t have a problem about age.

I, as a teenager, have never minded about my age. I am young and my friends in my school were mostly the same age as me; I never needed to mind about my age. Until after one month I started school in SSIS, age has become something that I mind.

I accidentally found out that the students in my grade were born in year 1993 or 1994. I was shocked, very shocked, because I was born in year 1992. I was very confused and upset. It didn’t seem fair to me. I felt like I had repeated a grade twice. Since then, age has been a touchy subject to me. Mr. Goetz told me that if I didn’t mind about the age, it wouldn’t matter. It was true, but also hard to do.

Now, I treat the whole age issue as a motivation to study hard and get good grades. I admit that I am quite an ambitious person, as I am one or two years older than the others in my grade, I should not have low grades. I am not saying that I want to have higher grades to beat other students, but as I’m older, I should learn and understand more.

I think the importance of this quote is about letting me go from my problem of minding my age. If I mind about the whole age issue, I am locking myself in my unhappy world. I believe that if I unlock myself, I would be happier.

BAD MOOD

Leehom went to Malaysia to promote his concert yesterday.
And I didn't get to go.
IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

SIX! Can you imagine that?
One person is allowed TWO album, TWO postcards, TWO tickets.
And I have ALL of those.

And yesterday, they could.

The blue and white strips on my cheeks are to represent my support for SSIS

MRISA basketball tournament starts! My school is the host this year, and international schools from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand came to compete. The tournament will last for two days.

Today (as in Friday), I went to the gym to watch the games. God bless us, we won in every game. Hope that the players will continue their great job tomorrow! Baishah!!! Gambate!!! 加油！！！

April's Fool~

What a fun day yesterday was! ^^ I guess it was because I was studying in an American school, people here celebrate it more than we do in Malaysia.

Firstly in the morning, we saw an announcement outside : All Middle School and High School classes are canceled. Please go to your teachers to take your assignments. So, we walked into the MS/HS building and saw another notice : Just kidding! April Fools! Well, that was a prank from the principals...obviously... >.<

Then, our turn to fool the teachers. Exactly at 10am, we shouted happy birthday to the teacher and started singing the birthday song. Mr. Doty didn't get mad at us, or surprised either, he kept smiling all the time. It was fun anyway, although Mr. Doty wasn't tricked.

Then, our second prank. In Spanish class, we took away all of our teacher's white board markers and replaced it with a permanent marker. HEHE. We were doing presentations that day. It was long before Senor Medina realized that we had used the permanent marker to write on the board. The board was already written in words and drawn with a map! ^^ He asked us whose marker was that, but we all said we didn't know while we were grinning at him. Haha. Poor senor.

That was all. Not many pranks were done but it was fun to me.


I also watched a movie yesterday. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Know this movie? A guy who was born old and died young. Really interesting. After I watched the movie, I decided that I preferred to be born young and die old. You will see why after you watched this movie. I think it was Brad Pitt's best movie, he really has good acting skills!
